Old stomping grounds are very much like ancient sacred burial grounds of your past. They hold amazing memories and sacred feelings; things you have held onto and things you have chosen to throw away. I am away for a few days, in Calgary AB, a very sacred burial ground for me. So much has changed, yet nothing has changed. The people are the same, some have grown families, some have built bigger and better, some have done nothing more than repainted the house.
Calgary is where Duy and I started our life together... the feelings that flood in here are slightly overwhelming- but happy.
I guess I will just have to pack my bags more often and take more journeys to my sacred burial grounds... I will try to step softly for many dreams lie burried here, but so many more dreams have been born here...
